As part of our commitment to continuous improvement, we are thrilled to announce the Oikos V3, featuring a complete overhaul of our existing system which includes the new Minter & Exchange, mobile versions and more.
New features
The new version of the platform comes with a host of new features and advanced order types. One of the most noteworthy additions is the introduction of Perpetual contracts , a type of derivative instrument that does not have an expiration date. Perpetuals offer users access to a broader range of strategies, allowing them to diversify their portfolio and manage risks more effectively. With Perpetuals, traders can maintain their positions indefinitely and take advantage of market opportunities as they arise. The introduction of Perpetuals is a significant development in the protocol, and it promises to provide traders with more flexibility and choice than ever before.
Staking dashboard
With this update we introduce the Staking Dashboard where users will be able to perform all the features currently available in the Oikos Minter and more. The Staking Dashboard introduces a mobile-friendly version and an entirely new design which provides an intuitive user interface that makes it easy for users to create and manage their own synthetic assets. In addition, we’ve introduced new customizations to the dashboard which enable new ways to update account c-ratio through burning and minting, allowing users to more efficiently manage their positions.
Exchange V3
The new Exchange introduces a mobile-friendly interface to the protocol with advanced features providing users with a seamless and intuitive trading experience. The Exchange also offers advanced order types, robust trading charts, and real-time market data to ensure users have access to the latest information and can make informed trading decisions.
Testnet launch
Oikos V3 will be launched on testnet on June 21st. The testnet will allow users to experiment with the features of Staking Dashboard and Exchange, including the newly added Perpetual contracts, in a simulated environment. This will provide an opportunity for users to test the platform’s features and provide feedback on the user experience.
The testing phase will be critical in ensuring that the platform is as robust and user-friendly as possible before the mainnet launch, therefore all users are encouraged to participate in the testing phase and share their feedback with us, so we can continue to improve and enhance the platform. Following the testnet launch, our team will continue to work on finalizing the platform and addressing any feedback and issues that arise to ensure that the platform is ready for the mainnet launch.
